How do I change my login or email address associated with my profile?

You can change your login and email address under the Profile tab in Profile Settings. Go to Profile Settings by clicking on your name in the upper-right corner > Profile.

How do I change my password?

To change your password, follow these steps:

  1. Enter the email address associated with your account

  2. Select "Forgot Password"

  3. Check your inbox for a Reset Password email

  4. Enter your new password

How do I update my profile picture?

You can add or change your profile picture at the bottom of the Profile tab in Profile Settings. If you do not see the option to edit your profile picture, then you likely do not have adequate permissions to do so and will need to contact an administrator in your brokerage to add a picture on your behalf.

How can I update my company's logo?

To update your company's logo, you will need to send your logo to our Support Team at support@buildout.com or through the in-app widget.

Where can I receive training for Buildout?

We recommend viewing our on-demand training courses in Buildout Academy. After logging into Buildout, click on your name in the upper-right corner > Buildout Academy to see all of the courses we have to offer. You can also access it here!

Where are my listings?

Any listings you have in Buildout can be found on the main Listings page, which you can locate in the navigation bar at the top of the screen. If you do not see any listings yet, you can start adding them by clicking on the New Listing button. If you are unable to create a New Listing, contact an administrator in your brokerage about reviewing your user permissions.

I have an agent that needs to be invited again to log in. How do I send a welcome email to them again to allow them to log in?

In order for the user to log in, they will need to follow the reset password instructions at https://buildout.com/forgot_password. If you share their login with them, they will be able to prompt a password reset and access their account.

Why do I have to reset my password every time that I log in?

If you find yourself having to reset your password every time that you login, we recommend confirming your login in your Profile Settings. We often see users having this issue when their login on file is different than their email on file. If these are different, using your email will prompt the incorrect password or login error which will have you reset your password.

As a Can Manage Company user, how can I update a Broker's information?

A Can Manage Company user can update a Broker's information (name, contact information, biography, title, etc) by navigating to Company > Users. From there, you can select the broker in question and update accordingly.

How can I remove a broker?

To disable a broker account, you'll first want to make sure the broker has been removed from all properties. Once this is done, find the broker's name in the "Users" page of the "Company Settings" and then check the box below the broker's photo to mark the user as Inactive.

How can I find a Broker's Buildout ID?

If you navigate to Company > Users, you can find the user's broker ID in the URL of the broker you've selected.
