Buildout is partnering with AlphaMap to provide an enhanced demographics feature within the Buildout Showcase platform you use. This integration will allow you to fully embed dynamic demographic maps and data into your own property website with your brand at no additional cost.
AlphaMap is an industry leader in providing up-to-date demographic information and mapping technology. Their “drive time” feature is especially useful for understanding your surrounding neighborhood. We’re thrilled to partner with their team to bring these capabilities to you.
To find this new data, you can navigate to a listing from your listing index. A new tab is now available below Demographics called Area Analytics. Here, you’ll be able to customize the settings of how you want to display this on your property websites.
Enhanced Listing Display with Area Analytics
Now, you have the flexibility to showcase advanced analytics for your property listing on your website. Tailor the display to your preferences by adjusting the visible categories, drive time, and radius rings.
Easy Configuration:
Navigate to the settings, where you can fine-tune your preferences. Below the settings, a live preview demonstrates how your choices will appear on the website.
Activation:
When satisfied, activate the feature by toggling the "Displaying area analytics on this listing" switch. Confirm your selections and save the settings.
Seamless Integration:
Experience the transformation on your property website with the newly added "Area Analytics" tab. The responsive design ensures visitors can effortlessly switch between categories, drive time, and radius rings.
Map Defaults
The option to display area analytics on this listing will be defaulted as off.
All categories will be checked.
Drive time will be 5, 10, and 15 minutes.
Radius rings will be 1, 3, and 5 miles.

What is difference between Buildout's demographics feature and Area Analytics from AlphaMap?
Both now have the same information, just different ways to display it!
The Demographics tab is just the data that’s shown and will populate to your documents and emails
The Area Analytics tab is a better visual to include on property websites so visitors can interact with the data and view more
Please note: visuals are not currently able to be used in emails or documents
Does Buildout support demographics for listings outside of the United States?
No. International demographics are still not provided through Buildout or AlphaMap at this time. The Area Analytics tab will not be available on any international addresses.
Is AlphaMap demographics data available on documents or emails?
At this time, the visual data is only able to be used for property websites. However, AlphaMap now also powers the data on our Demographics tab.
How up-to-date is AlphaMap demographics data?
Demographic values are for the Current Year, which are very accurate projections derived from the latest US Census, ACS, and USPS data among several other sources. This is the same for 5-year projections as well.
